Select Camera

Specifies which camera you want to use. Choose one of the following options:

Setting Description
None Use no camera.
Automatic Let the system automatically select a camera.
Specify Choose the camera from a list of installed cameras.

Enable calls without a camera

Lets you place and receive calls even when your camera is not connected or when the camera selection is set to None. When you use this setting with video calls, you see the other person's video, and they see the Polycom CMA Desktop logo.

Enable sending 720p (HD) people video

Specifies whether Polycom CMA Desktop should attempt to send HD people video during calls. Factors that can affect the system's ability to send HD video include the local system's processor speed and camera capabilities, call rate, network quality, and the far-end system's ability to receive HD video.

Allow 720p frame rates up to

Lets you specify the frame rate at which the system should attempt to send people video. The actual frame rate is affected by the local system's processor speed and camera capabilities, network quality, and the far-end system's ability to receive HD video. Note that some HD-capable cameras provide better quality video at 15 frames per second.

TIP: This setting might have been provisioned by the Polycom CMA server, if you want to change it locally please contact your network administrator.
